I wish this reply (and the fabric in IRS Pub 550) protected a liquidated cash current market fund as opposed to a liquidated Company, in my situation Schwab PA muni fund SWEXX that liquidated in 2017. The two conditions are identical but not similar. My basis inside the fund is my Original expenditure, in addition regular interest payments that wer
